Hello! Here’s round 2 of our tournament. Round one had some real blow-outs, by the roles you’d probably expect. The greatest of these was Darth Vader himself, who triumphed over JEJ’s portrayal of Malcolm X in the Muhammad Ali biopic “The Greatest.”

Then there were a number of rounds with few votes, likely because of the relatively obscure nature of the films involved. Two rounds were decided by a single point, including between the later films “The Angriest Man in Brooklyn” and “Gimme Shelter.” The former prevailed over the latter, 6-7. Likewise Jones’ portrayal of a professor in the 80’s comedy “Soul Man” won 9-8 over the regrettable in its entirety “Alan Quartermain and the Lost City of Gold.”

This time we’re down to 16 more contests, and this round will remain up until 9AM Eastern, on Saturday, Sep. 28.
