Hey, all; Happy And Healthy Friday –
Yes, as the header may have clued you to, it’s my birthday……On Monday! Yeah, I know it’s a weird time to celebrate it; but I actually did some checking, and I won’t have another Friday birthday until 2033, if you can believe it. Therefore, I figure now’s as good a time as any to celebrate with all you crazies, and get some undeserved kudos for making it through another year.
Back when I was in the office, this usually meant sheet cake, fresh ice cream, God-willing, and an excuse to waste a little more time than usual in the break room before being told to get back to work. It wasn’t much, but damn if we didn’t all embrace it. In terms of the now? Iunno. Might treat myself to some cake and ice cream, tomorrow; even better if it’s the kind of ice cream with the cake already in it. Might go for a drive, relive some memories. Or hell, even more likely, I’ll probably spend too long on here; my ever-aging eyes wilting to raisins. Still probably going to have ice cream while it happens. though.
As for the rest of you, the best and only present I could ask for is that you all enjoy the hell out of your Friday. Is it your birthday? Treat yourself! Is it not your birthday? Hell with it, treat yourself anyway! It’s been a long week, you’ve earned it. Either way, have some fun for me; the days will be getting shorter soon, after all.
