Hey, all; Happy And Healthy Friday –

By the time this goes to post, I’ll be neck-deep in bureaucracy getting my REAL ID from the Department (or as we say in Massachusetts: “Registry”) of Motor Vehicles. Some might think such a situation would lend itself to a juicy rant, but…It’s the D(R)MV; what can be said that hasn’t already been said by literal millions over the decades? The very concept of it causes instant malaise in anyone who has to even think of it; to say nothing of when one has to actually go there.

I suppose the only thing worth griping about is the concept of the REAL ID itself. Considering that most Americans, yours truly included have at least 5 separate legal forms of identification alone in their purses, wallets, or bags, this seems like a especially redundant square of the paper-trail at best and goddamned waste of time at worst. But again, I’m hardly the first to being it up, so why even bother complaining?
