Tonight you get to feast your eyes on a plant many of you will know even if you don’t know its name: Viburnum davidii, beloved of Tescos car parks and, well, me. This evergreen shrub is native to China and has become so ubiquitous in public realm planting that many people feel it’s lost its charm. I disagree! It has year-round interest, with the white florets giving way to little blue fruits, and its long sturdy leaves are interestingly crenellated on red stems.
I love you V. davidii <3<3<3
