I think most of us have donned a Star Wars costume at some point in our lives. The simple, iconic looks — from Darth Vader in the very first movie to Rey and Kylo Ren in the most recent entries — are always popular at this time of year. Or any time of year, really! Some of us go all out at the yearly Star Wars runs in Anaheim and Orlando!

Superheroes have always been popular, but more and more the more detailed costumes from the movies that combine practicality with distinct visual elements have become the standard cosplay. Some of us may have even dressed up as The Dude Lebowski. And if you’re feeling really daring… there’s the shower curtain costume from The Karate Kid.
