I love February!

Some of my favorite people were born this month, including my mother.

Also, Valentine’s Day!

February is recognized as Black History month in the U.S.

Two notable events that happened on this day are:

1960- 1st U.S. civil rights sit-in, at Woolworth’s in Greensboro, North Carolina

1978- Harriet Tubman is the 1st African American woman to be honored on a US postage stamp
