Memes are funny. They are also fascinating. They can come out of nowhere with no explanation as to why or how. I guess the “TikTok” as the whippersnappers do their stuff on is responsible for these, as memes spread like wildfire there (too bad I just can’t get the hang of the site, since I’m old and a lost cause).
Consider our exhibit of the day: “Sneaker O’Toole”
For clarification, this cutaway gag–from the episode Boys Do Cry–is from 2007. It also remains O’toole’s single appearance on Family Guy. So why is a random moment like this only going viral nearly twenty years later? Well, the obvious answer is it’s a funny scene. But beyond that, it’s a mystery.
Anyway Sneakers O’Toole is taking over the world, and can’t be stopped. Not unless he takes his sneakers off, which I somehow don’t think he’s going to do. Let’s just thank God he’s on our side.
Have a sneaky night, y’all!
