As always, with a new year comes new anime. What have you watched so far? What are you planning to watch? Have any recommendations? As for me, my biggest recommendation as of today is Ikoku Nikki: Journal of Witch. Based on the josei manga by Tomoko Yamashita (ヤマシタトモコ), this is a slice-of-life series about a young girl who moves in with her reclusive aunt after her parents die. It feels a bit like a tiny miracle that this anime exists, and I’m hoping that we’ll get the manga in English soon. If you haven’t watched it already, I hope you check it out. And if you have watched it, I look forward to reading what you think!
