Sam stood at the foot of the mountain, and his heart broke. His master Frodo should have been there beside him. His master should have been there, but he had succumbed to the corruption of a morgul-blade. It was left to Sam to bear the burden. It was left to Sam to finish the task.
As he began the long journey up the mountain to the Cracks of Doom, the two remaining Nazgül, including the wraith that was once his master, were far far away at Isengard, on the roof of the tower of Orthanc.
“From hobbit to Nazgül. What an expected transformation.”
The two figures in black whirled around to face the White Wizard.
“And the warrior from the South. Did you really think you could cross the threshold of Isengard and I wouldn’t know?” Saruman asked.
The wraiths were still for a long moment. And then the once-hobbit raised what seemed to be its face to sky, and let out a long, gibbering shriek.
Saruman was unmoved. With a swift gesture and a quiet word, the white-hot lightning poured forth from his cupped hands and enveloped the creatures.
But the creature that was once Frodo held on. Infused with the power of the Dark Lord, and the fortitude of the hobbit that it once was, the Nazgül would not yield.
The creature that was once Boromir, however, flickered in his resolve and stepped back.
Saruman saw his chance and took it, focusing his attack solely on the son of Denethor. The black robes burned away first, and then the ghostly shape, leaving only two red eyes glaring in the darkness, slowly fading, and finally going out.
Wasp (Leslie Paynore, Wizard in Training) is DEAD. They were BOROMIR.
With Saruman distracted, the remaining Nazgül sprang into action. With a flicker of movement inside its robes, the wraith threw a morgul-knife at the ancient wizard. It hit with a thwack, the metallic sound of the crooked blade hitting the back of Saruman’s right eye socket. The silver handle glistened in the moonlight.
As Saruman slumped to the ground, one thought entered his head.
“This death is the most metal death that has ever occurred. Everyone can’t help but agree that this death is the most metal.”
Spooky (Andaly Dusklow) is DEAD. They were SARUMAN.
The final hours have come, and the fate of Middle-Earth hangs in the balance. Will the ring be destroyed, or will the Dark Lord Sauron have dominion over all?

Frodo: The ring-bearer. The bearer of the ring is resistant to night-kills. If the ring-bearer is day-killed or corrupted (recruited), the ring passes to the next living non-corrupted member of the fellowship in this line of succession.- Sam,
Merry, &Pippin: Ring-bearers in waiting. No other powers. Aragorn: Can heal with their knowledge of athelas. Chooses one player per night to heal from night-kill. Can heal themselves. Cannot heal the same player two nights in a row.Boromir: Automatically becomes a Nazgül (Wolf) on Day 3. However, if they are the only remaining living Nazgül, they will revert back to town. This still applies even if they are corrupted (recruited) before Day 3.Gimli: Jailor. May not jail themselves. May not jail the same person two nights in a row.- Gandalf: If killed, will resurrect on the day of their choosing. Gandalf must be dead one full day before resurrection.
Legolas: Investigator. Results will read NAZGÜL or NOT NAZGÜL.- NOTE: IF ALL NINE MEMBERS OF THE FELLOWSHIP HAVE DIED OR BEEN CORRUPTED, THERE ARE NO REMAINING RING-BEARERS AND SAURON WINS (WITH AN EXCEPTION IF GOLLUM IS STILL ALIVE).
- NOTE: The ring-bearer is prevented from being night-killed due to the invisibility associated with wearing the ring. HOWEVER, if the ring-bearer role-claims outright, everyone will then know who they are and they will be vulnerable to night-kills. An outright role-claim would include “I’m [CHARACTER]” or “I am the ring-bearer” or some variation on such. The mod will be the final arbiter as to whether the ring-bearer has made such a role-claim. As a result, if someone receives the ring who has already role-claimed, they will also be vulnerable to night-kills.
Eowyn – Attempts to kill one player every night. They are only successful if they target the Witch-King of Angmar.- Vanilla Town (2)

Also, if Gollum is alive and all of the members of the fellowship have died or been corrupted, the ring will fall to them, and the game will continue, although town can no longer win.
