What are some films that you love but for some reason or another you can only watch once? For me that movie is Oliver Stone’s 1986 Vietnam War movie Platoon. I think I watched this film at too young of an age because the images and the violence in it really disturbed me on a deep level. Of particular note is the sequence where the soldiers torch and raze the village to the ground.
