A few years back, McDonald’s Japan had a pretty fucking cool Street Fighter II promotion. At least I’m assuming it was cool, because surprise surprise, I didn’t travel all the way to Japan just to feast on a Chun Li Chicken Sandwich. Two of the three food items featured here have never been made available in America, except for the Triple Cheeseburger, which looks…like a normal McDonald’s Triple Cheeseburger. Unless it’s not normally available in Japan? I have no idea. I’m a dumb American. Needless to say, the commercial for the marketing tie-in wasn’t in English, although “STREET FIGHTER BURGERS” is easy enough for even me to understand.
