Welcome to The Avocado’s weekly discussion of Japanese pop culture! Summer anime season is just around the corner, so let’s talk about what you’re looking forward to watching! Is Kimi ni Todoke officially part of the summer season? I’m not sure, but it’s supposed to arrive on Netflix sometime in August, and the key visual is very “summery” so I had to use it as the header. I had to! Okay, but what about the anime series that will premiere in the next couple of weeks? Anything looking good?
