DD3 – $1,600 – AROUND THE ADRIATIC – Once affiliated with Serbia, it’s the smallest in area of the nations bordering on the Adriatic Sea (Allison added $2,000 to her leading score of $9,400.)

DJ proved to be tough sledding for the players with three leftovers, as Allison was correct on DD3 and led into FJ with $11,800 vs. $7,000 for Matthew and $2,000 for Daniel.

Final Jeopardy!

FAMOUS CHARACTERS – She’s introduced in an 1845 novella in which she wears a short skirt with her mantilla thrown back to show her shoulders

Only Daniel was correct on FJ. Allison dropped $2,201 to win with $9,599.

Final scores: Matthew $2,100, Daniel $3,998, Allison $9,599.

Musical miscues: The players went 0-for-3 in the pop music category, including a clue about the song from the movie “Mannequin” that went to no. 1 in the 80s, “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now”.

Pedantry corner: I don’t think the “all in” shoving motion applies when you’re betting the maximum clue value on the board and you have less than that in front of you.

Correct Qs: DD1 – Who was Michelangelo? DD2 – What is Newfoundland? DD3 – What is Montenegro? FJ – Who is Carmen?
