We’re leaving a lot of wiggle room here but what we’re looking for is what you felt was the best larger ensemble cast to come together that really nailed it through and through. One where you felt there really wasn’t a weak link in it that kept it from being as close to perfect for what it needed to be. This can be in the drama or comedy realm and from any genre, so no need to limit yourself. While I might nominate later seasons of Parks and Rec, the early seasons didn’t click for me with some of the ensemble. An easy classic may be Friends, for example, which had a static main cast for its entire run.
But the one that really clicked for me, especially in the modern era, is New Girl. Though the show itself was a bit rough in its early seasons or two, the development of this group as a whole and what they became just left me stupidly happy week after week for seven beautiful seasons.
