It was kind of a gloomy weekend here, but I managed to take some pictures before the sun went away:
Here’s a close-up of the rose bush. They were really late to open this year (lots more buds on the way it looks like):
Around the front of the house, the asiatic lilies that my wife planted this year seem to be liking the spot, and are starting to open up:
Tomatoes are still growing like crazy. Lots of bees of all kinds visiting the flowers, and the first few cherry tomatoes are on their way:
I’ve occasionally seen mantises around, so I know at least some of them have survived the first couple weeks. They’ve gotten bigger, but still small and brown and hard to spot.
