- Responding to a comment of theirs. Respond to an old one if you want your post to be more private. Remember that the mod you tag might not see this right away.
- If you can’t easily find an old comment, you can tag them in an old thread. For that, you need their Disqus handle (the “username” in the URL). Syntax is

- Contact Form for moderation issues (anonymous). This should be used as a very last resort. It’s completely full of spam and only checked VERY periodically. If it’s a time sensitive issue PLEASE DO NOT use this form.

This is a shared Disqus account that the mods may use sometimes, at their discretion, to make site-wide announcements, deletion notices, and other moderation tasks. You should treat this account the same as you do any mod. However, this doesn’t mean that every mod action will be done by this shared account. It will simply be used as needed.
