So I had hoped to find some information as to where this utterly bizarre PSA came from, but all I can confirm is it aired in Canada, and…yeah, that’s pretty much it. This is another black hole on the internet. As far as I can tell, Lucasfilm didn’t have any involvement in it (not that I can find any sources claiming otherwise, and I have looked). Who made this? Did it ever air in America? Why would blowing up a giant cigarette in space prevent anyone from smoking? Alas, these are all questions without answers. Now I want to go home and rethink my life.
