Welcome to The Avocado’s weekly discussion of Japanese pop culture! &TEAM was on Sound Bomb 360 again, which is one of my favorite things ever because you get to really hear their voices. They even have focused videos where you can hear each member’s individual parts (so I run to watch Fuma’s immediately, then Yuma’s, both required listening/viewing for me). They performed three songs this time, first “We On Fire” and then this morning they released the video for “Bewitched” and “Hotline” (first time seeing the latter performed!) and they sound freaking good. So I have to share both videos with you all!
AHHH and I just woke up to the news that they won on Show Champion!!! This means they’re the first artists to win on a Korean music show with a Japanese album!!! I’m so proud! 🥹 I’ll share more details in the comments, but I wanted to scream about that here for a second.
