Nominations need not specify versions unless, for some reason, you want to pit different versions of the same song against each other. While I’m wary of remixes as a trojan horse for songs by other artists, I do realize that they are a significant part of the Chemical Brothers legacy. I’ll leave it up to you whether you feel that a given remix of another artist’s work bears enough of the Chemical Brothers signature to warrant inclusion. I will however draw the line at straight up production work.
