Posthumous releases
If this topic seems familiar, it’s because we have covered it before. But it was quite a while ago, and with Halloween fast approaching it seems as good a time as any to “raise the dead” so to speak.
So, regarding posthumous releases: are they really fan service, or just cash-grabs? Obviously, it goes both ways. Some of it is just repackaged garbage, but other artists left behind a real treasure trove of unreleased music. Where do you stand? What releases have exceeded expectations? Which releases have left you unsatisfied?
