Welcome to the first round of the Final Fantasy Character Tournament. Today we will be voting on the first 32 of the top 64. If you don’t see a character in today’s thread, keep in mind the other half of the top 64 will be posted on Monday. Having said that, a lot of characters didn’t make the cut. After filling out all 64 slots only two characters (Golbez, Jack) who received exactly 6 upvotes made it into the bracket. All other characters who received 6 upvotes (like those in the header) or less were eliminated. This includes Chadley, who was not nominated, but I eliminated him anyway out of spite.
Many characters received the same number of upvotes, so I expect many faves to go down in the first round. Please wait until I posted all entries before commenting or voting. Votes will be tallied at 9 PM Pacific on 10/3. Have fun!
