“School Lunch” is a song by Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her from their 1997 album It’s Brand New. And it’s not a coincidence that this Night Thread marks the beginning of the latest season of SCHOOL LUNCH REPORT, in which I will take a photo of my school lunch and then evaluate it based largely on a letter grade system. This series was inspired by The Avocado’s very own Nudeviking, who on and off for many years has provided us with reports of his very own cafeteria-style lunches (and gave his explicit approval for this series).
I would not expect to see many meat heaps – let alone anything that could be described as even remotely “speecy spicy” – but the GOOD-ASS SESAME DRESSING does occasionally make an appearance. This season (our fourth!) runs from today until late December. Catch it on Mondays to Fridays JST within the first two hours or so of the Night Thread whenever school lunch is available, exclusively at The Avocado dot org!
