Humanity united, no longer using money, exploring the stars in (generally) altruistic pursuit of knowledge and understanding. Sci-fi utopias can be tricky, because sometimes there’s more than at first meets the eye, and it isn’t all good. But part of the gravity of these settings is the conversations they provoke about what exactly constitutes an ideal future, and what is the best way to get there.
