***Warning: Vague Series Spoilers Below for Earth: Final Conflict***
Trance can no doubt tell you more, but William Boone is the protagonist of the first season of Gene Roddenberry’s Earth: Final Conflict. Played by actor Kevin Kilner, he is a military and law enforcement guy who agrees–that the death of his wife–to become a sort of bodyguard-protector for Da’an, a member of the alien Taelon race that has allegedly come to Earth with benevolent intentions toward humanity. Boone begins living a complicated life, in contact not just with the Taelons but with human underground elements who distrust the aliens. And as a protector, he has a sort of bio-weapon-implant system that allows him to do cool stuff.
Earth: Final Conflict is one of the more bizarre examples of TV show cast-turnover-chaos. Boone is gone after the first season, replaced as lead by Liam Kincaid. And the show’s evolution just gets weirder from there on out.
