Heathcliff is a main character in Bronte’s novel Wuthering Heights. At least, I think he is. I’ve never read it. As someone with an M.A. in Literature, there have been a multitude of occasions where I’ve pretended I read it. I feel like I should read it. With its Victorian Gothic trappings, it should be right up my alley. The problem is when I was young I was told I should read it, and I despised the person who told me that so much that I swore right then never to read it just to spite them. From everything I know, this seems like the kind of thing Heathcliff would do.
Whats the best adaption of Wuthering Heights anyway?
Anyways, tonight everyone should talk knowledgeably about a book they have never read.
In honor of Heathcliff.
