The Japanese House is an Indie act consisting only of singer and multi-instrumentalist Amber Bain.
Amber Bain has described her music as “warm, dream-pop sounds that wash over the listener like you’re standing in the ocean getting taken over by the waves.” And by listening to her songs, you can hear that there’s some sadness to them, but there is some kind of warmness to them.
Kinda wish I discovered her a few years ago cause she’s becoming one of my favorite artists. Having been in the music world for almost a decade, she has been starting to get more notice from her latest album released last year, which features my favorite song of hers “Sunshine Baby”.
