Welcome to the 30 Day Challenge for July, where we’ll be looking at the STEM fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. I originally conceived of the as the Science & Math Challenge so those two categories will get more attention, but we will touch on all of them.
Today we want to know about STEM toys. From ant farms to robot-building kits, there are tons of products out there intended as fun ways to give children (and adults) hands-on experiences with science, math, and engineering. Which are your favorites? Which ones did you have as a kid? Which ones do you have now? Are you the cool aunt / uncle / parent / godparent who gives STEM toys as gifts?
