Welcome to the 30 Day Challenge for July, where we’ll be looking at the STEM fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. I originally conceived of the as the Science & Math Challenge so those two categories will get more attention, but we will touch on all of them.
Today we want you know about your favorite YouTube STEM teacher. That is, we are talking about YouTube channels whose content focuses on explanations of science and math concepts. Tomorrow we’ll talk about maker YouTube channels where the focus is on building stuff. There is plenty of overlap here so use your best judgement.
So, what’s your favorite channel? Break it down by category or subject if you like. Do you prefer sleek vids with lots of location work and special effects, or are you content with just the person talking and writing on a board. Or something in between, or some other format entirely? In general, what makes a good educational video?
