This week’s discussion prompt: We are now just about halfway through 2024. What are your favorite songs or albums of the year so far?
There are a few albums that came out this year that are currently in the running for my favorite of 2024, but I Got Heaven by Mannequin Pussy is probably the one I’ve been coming back to the most consistently. I have nothing original to add to the heaps of praise that this album has received so far; basically every review of this album uses various turns of phrase to say that it blends punk and pop really well – which it does!
