The 2024 Stanley Cup Finals are here!
We’re down to the last two teams! The Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers; two teams that’s couldn’t be farther apart… in fact at 2,541m (though 4,093km looks even more impressive) these teams are the farthest apart that two teams have ever been in a Stanley Cup Final! Florida is looking for their first Cup win while Edmonton wants their sixth! So here we are: the Florida Panthers vs the Edmonton Oilers!

Thunder! Thunder! Thunder-Cats Ho! After losing to Vegas last year, the Florida Panthers are back in the Stanley Cup Finals! In the First Round the Panthers proved themselves to be the best of the Sunshine State after easily defeating intrastate rivals the Tampa Bay Lightning. Florida next dispatched, for the second year in a row, a lethargic Boston Bruins team. The Panthers then impeached the President’s Trophy winning New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference Finals! With their fast-skating and hard-hitting, is the second time a charm for the Florida Panthers?
All of Canada’s hopes and dreams lie with the Edmonton Oilers! For the first time since 2006 the Oilers are in the Stanley Cup Finals! In the First Round the Oilers usurped, as usual, the L.A. Kings! Then they unmercifully vanquished their fellow countrymen; Vancouver Canucks! Lastly in the Western Conference Finals they putdown the top-seeded Dallas Stars! An offensive juggernaut that are nigh unstoppable on the powerplay, can the Edmonton Oilers become the first Canadian based team to win the Stanley Cup since the ‘93 Canadiens?
