July 8th is a seminal moment for me here at the Avocado.
It was on July 8th a few years ago that I posted the Day Thread at the original AVCAD, not knowing that there was a schedule or a proper time that it was supposed to be posted.
A commenter wanted to have my head but it was the other commenters that came to my defense and it was that day that many a friendship was born.
To everyone that has always been there to stick up for me or to pull me out of a funk, I appreciate you immensely. Thanks for being so kind.
