John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together is a 1979 Christmas special that has never been released on home video, though it can be found in full on YouTube with a simple search for the title. While the special itself is nothing… well, special as television (it’s a fairly stock meta confection of the sort Henson and co. could put together in their sleep), the soundtrack is incredible. It’s one of my very favorite Christmas albums.
