Hey folks! We’re recording the next episode of the AVoCADo GamesCast this weekend, on Sunday, June 14th.
We’ll be discussing Summer Game Fest and all the associated showcases. For that reason, we’re seeking participants who tuned in to at least a couple of the presentations. You definitely don’t have to have watched all or even most of them, but having seen a few would be a huge asset.
Since Skype has been decommissioned, we have moved to Discord for recording. We’ve set up a Discord server, and we’ll invite guests to it when they sign up to participate.
If you are available and want to participate, please provide in the comments below:
- Your Discord username, if I don’t already have it, so I can invite you to the server1
- Which times on Sunday you’re available2
SGF is a big event, so recording could take up to 4 hours. I will try to keep it shorter than that.
As always, the GamesCast welcomes participants from diverse backgrounds. Regardless of your age, gender, sexual orientation, or cultural background, if you have something to say, we’d love to have you. We would especially love to have more women+ on the podcast; please sign up if you’re interested. Newcomers are welcome. The only hardware requirements are a decent-quality mic for recording (the mic on a mid-range headset usually suffices) and a stable Internet connection.
