Welcome to the inaugural Weekly Basketball Thread. This is a weekly thread in The Avocado where talk about all things in the NBA. And it’s not just the NBA, this thread could also be used to discuss any basketball related stuff like the WNBA and NCAA basketball.
I had been thinking about making this a thing ever since the opening week of the new NBA season. There a handful of basketball fans here in The Avocado, but there isn’t a place to discuss it other than the OT and during the playoffs.
And this is where the thread comes in.
So let’s tip off the very first basketball thread with a special “shout out” to Nico Harrison. A man who’s caused irreparable damage to the Dallas Mavericks due to the boneheaded trade of Luka Doncic that he become hated to not just to Mavs fans, but to every fan in the NBA.
So goodbye, Nico Harrison. We (kinda) knew ye.
