Optional Discussion Topic: Illness and Injury
A common Plot Device in many stories – the Hero must deal with injury or illness, either their own or that of their friends, family, or love interest. Perhaps it motivates them to think about their own mortality, or to seek revenge for the injury caused. Have you used these events in your writing?
