Pearl Jam has a handful of spoken word songs. The two most well-known are probably “Bu$hleaguer” (Riot Act), for politics reasons, and “Bugs” (Vitalogy), for being a weird surprise. But nestled between those two in the band’s discography is Yield’s “Push Me, Pull Me,” a chill little number about death and rebirth and the impermanence of life, probably 🤷♀️
It also has some explode-y noises.
Anyhoo, it’s a fun song, give it a listen:
Happy Day Threading!
