(We will not set clearly delineated boundaries on who qualifies as a ‘person of color.’ As a starting point, this thread uses the definition of ‘non-European heritage of sufficient prominence to affect one’s navigation of a society built on white normativity.’ However, we recognize that there are identities which skirt either side of the divide. If people feel that they meaningfully experience the identity of being a person of color, then they are welcome to participate.)

I’m back! From my trip to the motherland and it was a doozy. Probably my longest trip abroad (3 weeks) and a lot of things going on: a wedding. Poor/edge-of-the-seat planning. Excursions and illnesses. Land issues. Family…! Not to mention a metric ton of cultural issues & baggage I’ll need to unpack. Probably the next few weeks of thread prompt 😅.
However, I just flew back yesterday morning (14 hour flight), so I’m still jet lagged & with a cough that won’t quit.1almost 3 weeks now 👀
Anyways to keep things simple2for my heavily sleep disordered mind this weeks prompt: how do you deal with Jet Lag?
Second prompt: Do you ever find yourself travelling massive distances to visit the motherland/fatherland?3I think I passed through 4 timezones?
