This is not the new year many of us were hoping we’d get. So instead of wishing a happy new year, I wish everyone a defiant new year. Defiant to the Trump administration, defiant to the injustices of the world, defiant to the pressures to just give up. Let’s rally and let’s work to prevent the worst from happening.
