Welcome to The Avocado’s weekly discussion of Japanese pop culture! My ongoing obsession with Kana Nishino (西野カナ) continues, so I wanted to share two songs that I’ve been listening to a lot the last couple of days. They’re helping keep me motivated during the day and giving me a bit of strength. Also, I’ve been feeling a bit discouraged with my Japanese learning progress lately, so the fact that I can understand and sing along with most of the chorus of the first song is making me feel a bit of hope in that department. So if you’re looking for a musical boost today, for whatever reason, give them a listen.
