Thats right, it’s time to rush to the pokecenter ’cause you’re all out of antidotes, today we’re talking status effects! Ranging from minor problems to party-wiping catastrophes, Status Effects can come in all shapes and sizes; sometimes an enemy spews them in your face, sometimes you do it to yourself by pushing beyond your limits, or accepting a perpetual affliction by using a cursed sword with +2 Attack.
So whether we’re talking sleep, petrification, or suddenly becoming very old, the main prompt of the day is: What do you think of Status Effects in RPGs? Do you like the complications they introduce, or are they just a nuisance? Do you like to dish them out and status-effecting an tough enemy to death?
