Fans of 1994’s The Crow have long been concerned about the “just how long have we been hearing they are making this anyway” remake of their beloved cult classic. However their minds should finally be put at ease, as we have a trailer for it now, and it does, in fact, have a lot of crows in it.
I’m aware that for a long time people have been like “but will it have the crows?” Well, fortunately, it does. In fact it looks like it has hundreds of CGI crows. We won, guys! Clearly the people behind this movie have the utmost respect for the source material.
Comments on the trailer have been overwhelmingly positive so far to say the least.
“Thank fuck they didn’t go woke and make him The Raven instead!”
“It really is a good sign that you see a CGI crow as like the first thing in the preview, before you see Eric and his fiancé flirting uncomfortably in a bathtub together. I’m sure this sense of unease I felt was intentional, though. I trust the filmmakers. And it has crows.”
“Got so many chills when all of those CGI crows swooped around! I can’t wait to see them do crow things, like pooping on the shoulders of bad guys and maybe poking their eyes out. Remember how the crow poked that one dude’s eye out in that one Pirates of the Caribbean film? That was my favorite part!”
