The World Science Fiction Society (WSFS) released their lists of finalists for the various Hugo Award categories today. The Hugo Awards are a set of awards for science fiction or fantasy works (mainly literature, but also TV and film) that are presented annually at the World Science Fiction Convention, which will be held this year on August 19th. Together with the Nebula Awards they are often considered among the most prestigious awards in the speculative fiction space.
