Promare is an action/science-fantasy film by Studio Trigger about a version of Earth where a group of mutant humans known as the Burnish, who are prone to spontaneous combustion, are locked in a conflict with regular humans who don’t possess their fiery abilities. It’s basically Fire Force, except y’know, actually good.1Bam! Shots fired! (No pun intended.) After a successful Japanese run earlier in the year, the film premiered in Australia and New Zealand earlier this month, is currently in limited release in North American theatres (mostly in New York and Los Angeles), and is set to premiere in the UK and Ireland next month.
