Hello, it’s BannerThief here again, your host of such luminous tournaments as “Best Musical Film” and “Best Video Game Story.” I’m here today to help establish once and for all…which Final Fantasy game is the best one?
Due to the enormity of the task ahead of us, I’ve decided to forgo a “nomination round”, and instead we will be proceeding with a straight seeding round. EVERY FINAL FANTASY GAME THAT WAS EVER RELEASED WILL BE IN THIS ROUND. It’s just a matter of determining how the tourney will proceed. The top 64 vote-getters will move on to the bracket proper, but every game will get its due.
GROUND RULES
- For the sake of sanity and order, “remasters” and re-releases will be counted as the same game, while “remakes” are new experiences and will merit a different slot.
- I will do my best to put every game that was released in the comments for voting, but if I miss one, let me know, and I will try and add it, or worst case scenario, it will get a BYE in the tourney.
