Biggest Upset: There were several upsets this round, but we had our first band from the top 20 seeds fall: Rush (17th seed) was neck-and-neck with ABBA (48th seed) most of the day, but the Swedes managed to beat the Canadians by a mere 5 votes.
Closest Matchup: Television beats Steely Dan by 2 votes.

- At one point late in the day, both Parliament and Funkadelic’s matchups were tied. We still have some funk left, though, as Parliament moves on to face … AC/DC?
- Goat’s Prog Corner: I knew Genesis would not win this tournament, but it hurts me deeply to see them get crushed by The Clash, a band I feel rather apathetic about. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need sit in a dark room and listen to Wind and Wuthering.
