– John, a retired high school English teacher from Scottsdale, AZ, who has over 100 baseball books;

– Lisa, a technical service librarian from Naperville, IL, who is lucky to be on the show after disrespecting Big Bird. Lisa is a one-day champ with winnings of $16,800.

John trailed after round one, but was very impressive in DJ, scoring on both DDs in the round on the way to a strong $22,400 going into FJ vs. Lisa with $14,200 and AJ at $8,000.

DD1 – INSIDE THE PARK – The Serpentine and Speakers’ Corner (Lisa won $2,800 on a true DD.)

Only Lisa was correct on FJ and she appeared stunned about pulling off the win by $1 over John. Her victory was good for $16,400 and Lisa now has a two-day total of $33,200.

Triple Stumper of the day: No one knew that the universe in which Cardassians are an alien culture is that of Star Trek.

“The Other One” dept.: According to Alex, “the other one” to Benjamin Britten is Edward Elgar.
