It’s been…rough, lately. Please be nice to each other, be nice to the mods, and don’t threaten Mayor McSquirrel. To wholesale steal Big Wheel’s featured comment from yesterday:

We realize that things have felt especially bleak within the last few days, and we understand that this discussion thread is can feel like a lifeline to those who need to get their (often very strong) feelings out regarding the various political situations around the world. Things are rough right now; believe me, we get it. With that in mind, please remember that. above all else, we are a community. The last thing we need is for folks to start turning on one-another. We’re all in this together, and if you honestly feel that you can’t contribute without being overwhelmed with negativity, that’s fine; you’re human!

Go outside. have a drink, have a snack. Basically do whatever you need to do to clear your head. We’ll still be here [Friday PT host’s note: Still standing] when you’re ready to jump back in; It’s not just on you to keep it going. The myriad feelings and viewpoints might seem overwhelming at times, but that’s what keeps the community strong.
