Get your turduckens ready, put up your feet, and prepare for a Turkey Day weekend marathon of sports!  The traditional bad game involving Detroit, the many rivalry week games, NBA games Wednesday and Friday, even a daytime nationally televised NHL game Friday.  It’s enough to make you skip Black Friday shopping forever.

Time to ask that traditional question: what sports things are you must thankful for?  I am going to go with Jacob de Grom and Pete Alonso, Barry Trotz, and all the local broadcasters whose game calling skills outstrip the talent of the teams they cover.
