Pixar’s 22nd feature film fast forwards the time of medieval fantasy to the modernity of suburbia in Onward. The film’s plot has two teenage Elf brothers, Barley and Ian, setting out on a quest to find magic that would help them spend time with their father, who died when they were to young to know him. The premise is inspired by the director Dan Scanlon’s father died when him and his brother were young.

The film is set to star Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer.
