The Season 4 Finale of The Magicians aired on April 17, 2019. The title: “No Better To Be Safe Than Sorry.” The show long since departed from the Lev Grossman novels and has now opened the door to uncharted territory.

Personally I’m not a fan of the decision they made. I was not a regular watcher though I kept a wary eye on a particular storyline. Now that it has resolved I won’t be returning for Season 5.

People are feeling emotional so I’m opening a thread to vent, rant, speculate and philosophize. I’d particularly like to hear from people who are excited about the direction the show is going. What are your hopes for Season 5?
